Orlando, Fla. - Fans lined the shores of the Orlando Watersports Complex today to catch the final rounds of wakeboarding action at the 2009 Air Nautique Wake Games, presented by Rockstar. With eight divisions already in the books, the 14 remaining groups of riders hit the water today to vie for individual division trophies and team points toward the team challenge.

Orlando, Fla. - As the National Football League prepares for the NFL Draft in New York this weekend, another annual sports draft took place today in Orlando at the Orlando Watersports Complex, where 90 professional and amateur wake athletes were drafted to one of ten teams for the 2009 Air Nautique Wake Games, presented by Rockstar.

Orlando, Fla. – The top wake athletes on the planet took to the waters of the Orlando Watersports Complex in Orlando, Fla. today for the opening rounds of the 2009 Air Nautique Wake Games, presented by ROCKSTAR. The four-day-long pro-am wakeboard event kicked off today with qualifying rounds for several pro and amateur divisions, eliminating a majority of the competition in the process.

Only the crème of the crop survived the opening rounds, earning them an invitation to the Wake Games Team Draft and advancing onto their respective division’s following round in the contest.
